Okay - I have my favorite fantasy series(s).
(I can't really say which one is the absolute top, although anything with Drizzt is certainly on my must-read list). _________________ You can't always get what you want...

As I find it difficult to re-read a book once I've read it I'm hard pressed to be able to pick a favourate series .... however if pressed I will admit to being significantly moved by JVJones Cavern of Black Ice series .... that is if she ever gets around to releasing the Sword of Red Ice !
What is going on there with that book? anyone actually know? |

I voted for the Thomas Covenant series, though I have only read the First Chronicels of it. I liked that they were a bit different from the usual fantasy series.
My favorite fantasy series though would have to be George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. |

If you liked the first set then read the second - more of the same in a way but well worth it I found.
Don't know about the 3rd series yet as that's sitting in my 'to read next' short list pile |

Shows how much I've been following Donaldson lately - I didn't even know there was a third series. Guess I'll have to be be visiting my book stores to see what's doing. _________________ You can't always get what you want...

Saw it in Barnes & Noble last weekend. Haven't purchased yet. I might wait a bit yet. My reading time has been diminished lately as I've been rehearsing in a play. Don't want to get involved with too much reading while trying to keep up with line memorization. May sound silly, but once I start reading a book, I start spending a lot of the little bit of free time I have reading (when I'm not online, that is). _________________ You can't always get what you want...
