For those of you who want to learn how to code your own web pages or even just want to improve on your current skill set then I would recomend visiting the website http://www.pagetutor.com/download.html for a free and simple to follow step-by-step guide to HTML coding. You have the choice of viewing the tutorials online or downloading them for offline use
I personally keep an offline copy handy for those 'dense moments' and have witnessed a non-programmer use the tutorials to teach themselves how to code quite good sites
Everyone has their own golden snippet of advice to give out and I'm no different - just ensure you keep your webpages Simple and Smooth - avoid overly complex designs, over crowding, over colouring or over animating a single page. Keep your coding neat and quick to download plus viewable with both Internet Explorer and Firefox
And finaly if you see a webpage design that catches your eye analyise it for how it appealed and then view the source code to see how the designer programmed it (IE = View/Source FFox= View/Page Source)
Coding is relatively easy. Original content is the truly hard part. Be very careful what you do/use on your site. _________________ You can't always get what you want... http://www.fictionalworlds.com
